What not to do when deciding to start boxing

After a night of frivolity, several cones with dead marines strewn around Trev watches a rerun of Rocky and a revelation comes to him so he reaches for the phone ..........

"Gidday mate is this the boxing gym ?"

Yes but it is better described as a boxing academy.

"Yea I want to get into boxing How much is it?"

So are you looking for competition or you just want to train

" I want to become a professional boxer and win a world title"

Have you ever done any boxing ?

"nah just in the back yard "

How old are you ?

"28 years old I'm a bit out of shape"

It is unlikely that a competition trainer would accept you without some prior experience. I offer a stepping stone where you can learn the fundamentals of boxing including sparring and when you are ready and if I feel you have potential  I will organize your first amateur fight

"Do you have Jeff Fenech's number?"
